Halloween Ideas For Pregnant Women

Many things will begin to change the moment your pregnancy begins, and this includes not only your body, but also the size of your clothes, the way you feel, and even the way you look.  But all these changes do not mean that you cannot still enjoy things like Halloween.  If you are creative, your pregnancy doesn´t have to keep you from dressing up for halloween.  In fact, it gives you a whole range of options for halloween costumes which you may not have had previously.

You may choose to go with costume sets for you and your partner, or choose one just for yourself.  You can buy a costume or you can make one at home.  Either way, you can make this a very fun experience.  The key is to be creative.  If you decide to make your very own costumes, here are a few ideas which may help you in the process:

The eyeball costume – what you will need for this is simply some face paint and some black clothing.  You do not need to be good at drawing in order to create this and to have fun in the process.  You will dress up entirely in black, with a tight-fitting t-shirt, and paint your stomach all white except for the area right around your belly button, which you can paint in any other color (if you always wanted to have blue eyes, this is your chance); for a little added touch do not leave out the red veins.  Depending on how you feel, you can make it a scary-looking eye or a cute one.  This costume also gives you an excuse to show off your pregnant belly.

If you are looking for a more subtle alternative as far as your costume is concerned, something that wont necessarily stand out and make your belly the center of attention, you can choose to dress up as a human pumpkin.  All you need for this is a small green hat or cap.  All that`s left is to paint either your belly or all your clothes orange, and voila!
.
You may not feel like you want to wear a full-body costume, in which case you can paint only you belly, which also gives you an excuse to proudly exhibit your belly.  Besides, how many more times are you going to be pregnant during Halloween? So take advantage of it.  Just try to think of different common objects that are round and paint yourself accordingly.  For example:  you can go as a basketball, a soccerball, etc…

You may be thinking that since you are pregnant this year you can`t dress up as a witch.  Well, why not?  Witches can be mothers just like everyone else, although their broom may not hold the added weight and they may need to buy a sturdier one.  If you want to dress up as a witch, go ahead and do so.  The key, again, is just to be creative and take advantage of that belly you have, and use it as a prop or as part of your costume.  As an example, why not go as a witch who happens to be holding a huge pumpkin in her arms.?
